We are accepting nominations for a deserving local veteran to receive a complete roof replacement at no cost.
Nominations will be accepted through August 21, 2026.
No purchase necessary. Eligibility requirements and official rules apply.

Our veterans have made tremendous sacrifices in service to our country. Through the SkyShield Gives Back initiative, we want to recognize one local veteran by providing something every family deserves: a safe, dependable roof over their head.
Community members, friends, family members, neighbors, and veterans themselves are encouraged to submit a nomination.
What the Winner Will Receive
A Complete Roof Replacement
The selected veteran will receive a professionally installed roofing system from SkyShield Roofing of New England.
The giveaway may include:

Jobsite protection and cleanup

Applicable manufacturer and workmanship warranties
Final project specifications will be determined following a property inspection and confirmation of eligibility.
Who Can Be Nominated?
Nominees should:

Be a United States military veteran

Own and occupy the nominated home as their primary residence

Live within SkyShield Roofing’s eligible service area

Have a roof that is in need of replacement

Be willing to provide documentation confirming military service and homeownership

Agree to the official giveaway rules and project requirements

How the Selection Process Works
1. Submit a Nomination
Complete the nomination form and tell us about the veteran, their service, and why a new roof would make a meaningful difference.
2. Nominees Are Reviewed
Our team will review eligible submissions based on need, the nominee’s story, property eligibility, and roof condition.
3. Property Inspection
Finalists may be contacted to schedule a complimentary roof inspection and verify eligibility.
4. Recipient Is Selected
The selected veteran will be contacted after the review and verification process is complete.

Can a veteran nominate themselves?
Yes. Veterans may nominate themselves or be nominated by a family member, friend, neighbor, coworker, or community member.
Is there a cost to enter?
No. There is no purchase or payment required to submit a nomination.
Does the veteran need to own the home?
Yes. The nominee should own and occupy the property as their primary residence, subject to the Official Rules.
What areas are eligible?
Eligible properties must be located within SkyShield Roofing of New England’s approved service area. List the exact eligible states, counties, or towns in the Official Rules.
Is the roof replacement transferable or redeemable for cash?
No. The prize should not be transferable, substituted, or redeemed for cash except as permitted in the Official Rules.
When will the recipient be announced?
The final announcement date will be shared after nominations, inspections, and eligibility verification have been completed.
What happens after someone is nominated?
SkyShield may contact the person who submitted the nomination or the nominee to request additional information, photographs, documentation, or permission to inspect the property.
